Start learning and reading

1. Qué lo queTraducción: What’s up? / What’s going on?
Ejemplos:

• ¿Qué lo que, loco?
  → What’s up, man?
• ¡Ey! ¿Qué lo que contigo?
  → Hey! What’s going on with you?

2. ChinTraducción: A little bit
Ejemplos:

• Dame un chin de agua.
  → Give me a little bit of water.
• Espera un chin más.
  → Wait a little longer.

3. JarturaTraducción: Being full (very full) / overeating
Ejemplos:

• Tengo una jartura increíble.
  → I’m extremely full.
• Después de esa comida, quedé en jartura.
  → After that meal, I was stuffed.

4. Dame datoTraducción: Tell me / Give me the info / What’s the plan?
Ejemplos:

• ¿Van a salir hoy? Dame dato.
  → Are you going out today? Let me know.
• Dame dato cuando llegues.
  → Let me know when you arrive.

5. Dime a verTraducción: Tell me / Let’s see / What’s up?
Ejemplos:

• Dime a ver, ¿qué tú quieres hacer?

Ejemplos:

Ejemplos:

  → He’s really chill, he doesn’t get mad easily.

  → Relax, everything’s calm.

8. Le llegaTraducción: He/she understands / gets it / is into it
Ejemplos:

• Él le llega a ese tema.
  → He understands that topic.
• Si le explicas bien, le llega.
  → If you explain it well, they’ll get it.

9. TeteoTraducción: Party / wild party
Ejemplos:

• Anoche hubo un teteo buenísimo.
  → Last night there was an amazing party.
• Vamos para el teteo más tarde.
  → Let’s go to the party later.

10. BochincheTraducción: Gossip / drama
Ejemplos:

• Siempre hay bochinche en ese grupo.
  → There’s always gossip in that group.
• No me gusta el bochinche.
  → I don’t like drama.
