My journey
My journey started when I was 17.
I was working and studying at the same time — trying to figure out my future.
During that time, I received an opportunity that would change everything.
I was invited to take a Spanish teaching course at
El Quetzal Spanish School in Guatemala.
Shortly after, I started teaching.
And that’s when everything changed.

Spanish opened doors for me.
It allowed me to connect with people from all over
the world, to travel to different countries, and even
to live in Colombia for almost two years while teaching.
Years later, during the pandemic, everything paused.
And I felt lost.

And that’s how Study Spanish Anywhere was born.

Today, I don’t just teach Spanish.
I help people feel confident, understood, and capable of expressing themselves in a new language.
Because I know what it feels like to learn a language as an adult.

Outside of teaching…
I’m a dog lover 🐶 and a proud dog mom.
I have Noah and Merry with me in the U.S., and more of my dogs back in Guatemala. I’m deeply committed to helping street dogs in my country. |
I’m also married — my husband is from Seattle, and I moved here to start this new chapter of my life.
I’m still adapting, learning, and growing every day. |
In my free time I love:
